The EDEN 2013 Conference will discover and present the latest best practice in this field, share progressive concepts, inventive solutions, and promote joint-thinking and collaboration.

Discussion and debate will provide a range of innovative theories and approaches about the smart use of ICT tools, new methodologies for enhanced learning experience, content management systems, or fascinating solutions supported by game based learning, immersive environments, multimedia, etc.

Entre os temas da conferência está a aprendizagem baseada em jogos (game-based learning) e no que diz respeito a "providing a sense of joy in the virtual classroom", a gamification of education pode ter uma palavra a dizer.



CHI 2013 Workshop: Designing Gamification: Creating Gameful and Playful Experiences : call for papers deadline - 11 January 2013.

Uma workshop específica sobre o tema da gamification, integrada na CHI 2013. Tópicos principais: Postmortems, lessons learned, recurrent challenges and issues encountered in the design of gameful systems; Design models, principles, methods, tools, and evaluation methods adapted from interaction and game design; General and domain-specific constraints, opportunities, facilitating and success-critical conditions of gamification.

CSEDU 2013, the International Conference on Computer Supported Education, aims at becoming a yearly meeting place for presenting and discussing new educational environments, best practices and case studies on innovative technology-based learning strategies, institutional policies on computer supported education including open and distance education, using computers. In particular, the Web is currently a preferred medium for distance learning and the learning practice in this context is usually referred to as e-learning. CSEDU 2013 is expected to give an overview of the state of the art as well as upcoming trends, and to promote discussion about the pedagogical potential of new learning and educational technologies in the academic and corporate world.
